Communication 305: Theories of Communication. (MWF, 8:00 AM - 8:50 AM, 102 BLOC.) We'll focus on how communication researchers use theories to ask (and answer) compelling questions about a range of communication topics including interpersonal relationships, persuasion, and organizing. The only textbook for the class is Katherine Miller's (2004). Communication theories: Perspectives, processes, and contexts (2nd ed.). We also use CPS-RF "clickers." Here's a picture:
